Dr. Huda’s Story: a doctor from Abu Dis speaks movingly about how mothers organise for their families’ and neighbours’ survival, and support their sons held in Israeli prisons – a talk recorded at Crossroads in spring 2006.

Haiku for Palestine: Camden textile artist Charlotte Eatwell reads poems inspired by a recent visit to Jerusalem and Abu Dis.

Two documentary films from Gaza: Lucy Nabijou, creative director of Qisat Nas Community Film School, introduces the Qisat Nas project and two short films made in Gaza.

Qisat Nas is a group of filmmakers and human rights activists originally based in Gaza and the UK, who share the common aim of encouraging the production of quality documentaries made by Palestinians in Gaza for international distribution. Recent disastrous events have interrupted its work but its aim remains unchanged.

Amar: Amar was shot in the neck by an Israeli solider when he was 13. Now aged 18,
we see how he spends his life and find out what are his hopes and concerns for the future.

The Silence: 5-year-old Hind lives in block “O” in Rafah, next to the wasteland of bulldozed rubble that was once home to many other Palestinians. This film is a snapshot of her and her family’s difficult life.
