Great Guardian article defends disabled prisoner – add your comment
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/sep/05/seriously-ill-prison...
The Guardian has finally published an excellent piece on Daniel Roque Hall, a severely disabled man who was nearly killed by the prison authorities. We’ve been working with his mother and friends to get the story out – the media are full of the Paralympics but (except for Private Eye, Kilburn Times and the New Statesman) they have kept this torture hidden.
Please go online and comment on Eric Allison’s piece. Many of the first comments are callous and vindictive – as if prisons had the right to torture and even kill.
And sign the petition here . . . . to keep Daniel out of jail so his life can be saved.
