To our sisters the Mothers of Thailand:
The Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Founder Line highly value the vigil that Mrs. Sureerat Chiwarak and other Mothers are keeping in front of the jail where their dear children are, whom we consider unjustly detained. They are accused of having violated “the law of lese majesty”, that is, of having publicly expressed their opinions.
The creativity that you are showing in your peaceful protest, dear Mothers of Thailand, reminds us of what we had in the times when we were looking for our dear sons and daughters.
We know that you are going to succeed. No one can oppose the symbolic power of the Mothers, whose only weapon is love and truth, whose only strength is a resistance that no one will be able to break.
We wish your children to be released immediately from prison, and that the human rights of every person in Thailand are respected.

Queridas compañeras Madres de presos políticos tailandeses:
Las Madres de Plaza de Mayo Línea Fundadora valoramos mucho la vigilia que la Sra. Sureerat Chiwarak y otras Madres mantienen frente a la cárcel donde se encuentran sus queridos hijos, a los que consideramos injustamente detenidos. Están acusados de haber violado “la ley de lesa majestad”, es decir, de haber manifestado públicamente sus opiniones.
La creatividad que están mostrando ustedes en su pacífica protesta, queridas Madres de Tailandia, nos recuerda la que tuvimos en los tiempos en que buscábamos a nuestros queridos hijos e hijas.
Sabemos que ustedes van a triunfar. Nadie puede oponerse a la potencia simbólica de las Madres, cuya única arma son el amor y la verdad, cuya única fuerza es una resistencia que nadie podrá doblegar.
Les deseamos que sus hijos salgan inmediatamente libres de la cárcel, y que se respeten los derechos humanos de cada habitante de Tailandia.
